Our Mission

Bad Ass Tutors is now a member of C.A.R.E. That means we are a non profit, 501(c)3 organization. No, we are not kidding. Bad Ass has gone philanthropic! Is that contagious?!?

C.A.R.E.'s mission is to help people become self-sufficient, contributing members of society. We will help people enrich their lives. For the homeless, we will first work to get them into affordable housing. We will then empower them with private and group tutoring in life skills, personal and career development, and hobbies. We offer classes that range from learning how to cope with stress, how to use a computer, how to stay clean and sober, or even how to balance their checkbook. For people who have a home and a job, we offer courses of interest in a variety of subjects. Career development could be how to climb the corporate ladder, how to upsell your client, or even how to start a rock band. Personal development could be etiquette, how to become a cigar officianado, wine connisseuring, your first tattoo, or even weightloss. Hobbies could be learning photography, learning to dance on a pole, or even teach a nerd how to throw a party. Finally, life skills could be learning your rights in law, a mojo class, image consulting, internet dating tips, or how to find free food.

Membership is free and tax-deductible donations are accepted now. Please email us for more information and to receive your donation voucher.

The second branch of C.A.R.E. is research... nah, we scrapped that. The second branch is just plain free tutoring. This summer, we are building a free video library of all subjects bad ass, and all subjects academic. Check in periodically to view our latest videos, free! Learn from the pro bad asses, anything from organic chemistry to how perform "vertical dancing." Hey, we are a non profit now, so we gotta give SOMETHING away for free.

So, wait for your favorite subject to get a free video. Otherwise, 75% of your donations for services get free tutoring: from ABC's to Ph.D.'s (we stole that line), from kids to college students.
